The gardens are dedicated to General Giorgio Morigi, who successfully worked toward the liberation of Filottrano. Redevelopment efforts have improved both the urban aesthetics and, most importantly, the usability of this valuable space for social gatherings and family leisure.

Upon entering the park, the two war memorials are well-maintained and take center stage. The area of the “old gardens” is lively once again, and the northern section—which had previously fallen into disuse—is now orderly and welcoming. The pathways are clear and logical, guiding visitors seamlessly from one area to another. New equipped areas invite people to rest, while the expanded playground accommodates children and families.

The skating rink has been completely transformed and is now suitable for full and inclusive use. Access points are simpler: the old railings have been removed and replaced by shaded steps, providing cool seating during the summer. On Via XXX Giugno, the old wall has been replaced with a set-back concrete wall, creating 19 parking spaces that make arrival convenient and safe.

The greenery is well-maintained, and a continuous pedestrian path connects the east and west entrances, linking the shops on Corso del Popolo with those on Via XXX Giugno in just a few minutes. Completing the experience, a scenic path offers pleasant views, while a fitness trail accommodates runners and those training. Today, the park is a connected, accessible, and vibrant space.
