Ca’ Vecchia is a beautiful farmhouse, one of the many—fortunately—that you can still find in the Marche region, but with something extra.
First of all, its location: almost a 360-degree stage overlooking the Marche countryside, with Mount San Vicino, the Sibillini Mountains, Cingoli, and Filottrano all around.
Then the structure itself: the old hay barn, a charming Biroccio (the traditional Marche farm cart).
And finally, the brick paving where all farm life once took place, which now—on long, hot summer days—hosts lovely, colorful little tables, surrounded by wheat (up until the harvest and the next crop rotation), lavender, and rosemary.
